Here is an article from The Los Angeles Times which states that smog is worse than smoking. Does that mean that all SDA’s who live in the smog zone of LA must leave because they are inhaling dangerous substances into their lungs? Are they killing themselves? Is it sin to live in L. A?

Re "Pollution saps state's economy, study says," Nov. 13 A shocking statistic mentioned in this article is that 3,000 deaths annually in California are attributable to smog pollution. For comparison, according to the American Lung Assn., the number of lung-cancer deaths attributable to second-hand cigarette smoke for the entire United States is 3,400 annually.
