THE LOVE WE ARE REQUIRED TO GIVE ALL MEN
As Christians, the love we are required to give all men is expressed by the standard of The Ten Commandments:
“Let us hear the conclusion of the whole matter: Fear God, and keep his commandments: for THIS IS THE WHOLE DUTY OF MAN.” Ecclesiastes 12:13.
Honor your father and mother Thou shalt not kill Thou shalt not commit adultery Thou shall not steal Thou shall not bear false witness against thy neighbor Thou shall not covet … anything that is thy neighbors.
Anything more that we do for the world of mankind is discretionary; that is, we have the freedom to act on our personal discernment and responsibility.
As Christians, we have a greater duty to Christ’s Brethren. We must provide for their needs --even share our home, our food and clothing --and that is a salvation issue! See Matthew 25:31-46.
QUESTION: Who are Christ’s Brethren?
HERE IS JESUS’ ANSWER: “ … My mother and my brethren are these which hear the word of God, and DO IT." Luke 8:21
