"GOOD WITHOUT A GOD" -American Humanist Association

“GOOD WITHOUT A GOD” slogan of the American Humanist Association

JESUS CHRIST: “ … Why callest thou me good? there is none good but one, that is, God: but if thou wilt enter into life, keep the commandments.” Matthew 19:17

In direct contradiction to the teaching of Jesus Christ, the godless, lawless philosophy of Humanitarianism has crept into many assemblies of modern Christianity. Its philosophy of “Good without a God” is based on loving the world of mankind while it rejects the love of God that is expressed through the obedience of faith. Here, you will see that the philosophy of Humanism is anti-Christ:

“Humanism is a progressive philosophy of life that, without theism and other supernatural beliefs, affirms our ability and responsibility to lead ethical lives of personal fulfillment that aspire to the greater good of humanity.” AHA

In this apostasy from the truth of the scriptures, Humanistic Christians become “as gods” when they rule their lives by rejecting the Commandments of God and use their human reasoning to determine what is good and evil. Who will heed this warning of the apostle Paul?

“Beware lest any man spoil you through philosophy and vain deceit, after the tradition of men, after the rudiments of the world, and not after Christ.” Col 2:8

Satan is at war with the saints of God. He wants to spoil us through philosophy and vain imaginations --but we can overcome him through our obedient faith:

"(For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God to the pulling down of strong holds;)

Casting down imaginations [Or, reasonings], and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ;" 2 Corinthians 10:4-5
