Serves: 6 (I doubled it)
1 TB olive oil
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 28 oz. can tomatoes, crushed
1 tsp. oregano
s & p to taste
1 lb. Pasta; ziti or rotini, cooked and drained
2 c. grated cheese, any type
I added 1 lb. ground turkey. Brown with the onions.
Preheat oven to 350. Heat oil in a heavy, large ovenproof skillet. Add onion and garlic; saute till soft (about 5 min.) Add tomatoes, oregano, salt and pepper. Cook till heated through, about 5 min. Add the cooked pasta and 1/2 cup grated cheese to the mixture. Sprinkle remaining cheese on top.
Bake 15 to 20 minues or until cheese on top is bubbly.
