Harold wrote: That is exactly what Paul said:
Gal_2:3 But neither Titus, who was with me, being a Greek, was compelled to be circumcised:
THE FALSE TEACHERS DEMANDED CIRCUMCISION FOR SALVATION.
Act_15:24 Forasmuch as we have heard, that certain which went out from us have troubled you with words, subverting your souls, saying, Ye must be circumcised, and keep the law: to whom we gave no such commandment:
"...ye must be circumcised..." Is that not what you are saying Albert?
You wrote: Two options:
" So we are left with two options. Either we are taking Paul out of context and he absolutely believes that we should be circumcised as an outward representation of the spiritual, or he is a liar "
Albert - I appreciate your non-combative stance but there is a third option - you have unwittingly become a false teacher saying we must be circumcised.
Act 15:1 And certain men which came down from Judaea taught the brethren, and said, Except ye be circumcised after the manner of Moses, ye cannot be saved.
That is what I hear you saying.
