MEDICAL CARE ON THE SABBATH
My conclusion is that we can seek and pay for medical help on the Sabbath - but only in an emergency.
Luk 14:5 And he said unto them, Which of you shall have an ass or an ox fallen into a well, and will not straightway draw him up on a sabbath day?
However, as far as it is in our control we must not schedule medical services (buy or sell) on the Sabbath which require payment.
Neh_10:31 And if the people of the land bring ware or any victuals on the sabbath day to sell, that we would not buy it of them on the sabbath, or on the holy day:
Can we heal (give medical help) on the Sabbath? Absolutely.
Mat 12:12 How much then is a man of more value than a sheep! Wherefore it is lawful to do good on the sabbath day.
However those who work for money on the Sabbath and excuse it by calling it healing or doing good are breaking the 4th commandment.
It is lawful to help those in need on the Sabbath BUT IF WE CHARGE OR ARE PAID FOR OUR HELP - it is not mercy, IT IS MERELY WORK.
