PERJURY
“Perjury is a willful assertion of a fact, made under oath, with the knowledge that such an assertion is false.” It is a sin against the ninth commandment of God and no society should allow it to go unpunished.
Unlike debased governments where corrupt judges close their eyes to this enemy of truth and justice, God gave His people the ninth commandment along with instructions of how to enforce it."
THE NINTH COMMANDMENT OF GOD
“Thou shalt not bear false witness against thy neighbour.” Exodus 2016
THE PUNISHMENT FOR A FALSE WITNESS
Under the law of God, a false witness received the punishment as he had thought to have done unto his brother.
Deuteronomy 19:15 One witness shall not rise up against a man FOR ANY INIQUITY, OR ANY SIN, in any sin that he sinneth: at the mouth of two witnesses, or at the mouth of three witnesses, shall the matter be established.
Deuteronomy 19:16 If a false witness rise up against any man to testify against him that which is wrong;
Deuteronomy 19:17 Then both the men, between whom the controversy is, shall stand before the LORD, before the priests and the judges, which shall be in those days;
Deuteronomy 19:18 And the judges shall make diligent inquisition: and, behold, if the witness be a false witness, and hath testified falsely against his brother;
Deuteronomy 19:19 THEN SHALL YE DO UNTO HIM, AS HE HAD THOUGHT TO HAVE DONE UNTO HIS BROTHER.: so shalt thou put the evil away from among you.
Deuteronomy 19:20 And those which remain shall hear, and fear, and shall henceforth commit no more any such evil among you.
A wise, just and merciful God has given his law pertaining to perjury. Righteous governments will enforce it --but even if they do not, perjurers will not inherit eternal life. .
A FINAL PUNISHMENT WAITS FOR THE PERJURERS WHO THOUGHT THEY GOT AWAY WITH IT:
Revelation 22:14 Blessed are they that do his commandments, that they may have right to the tree of life, and may enter in through the gates into the city.
Revelation 22:15 For without are dogs, and sorcerers, and whoremongers, and murderers, and idolaters, and WHOSOEVER LOVETH AND MAKETH A LIE.
