ONE LORD, ONE FAITH, ONE BAPTISM

ONE LORD, ONE FAITH, ONE BAPTISM

Some Christians promote doctrines that are not required for salvation. Their separation from the ONE FAITH is a work of the flesh that Paul calls Seditions.

Seditions: divisions into separate factions; parties, whether in the Church or state.

We need to heed this warning of Paul about the works of the flesh: " … of the which I tell you before, as I have also told you in time past, that they which do such things shall not inherit the kingdom of God." (See Gal 5:19-21)

We must stop doing those things and adhere to the teaching of Jesus and the apostles who teach

ONE LORD, ONE FAITH, ONE BAPTISM, Eph 4:5

Our ascended Lord has given some people to the saints, who will preach that message.

Eph 4:11 And he gave some to be apostles; and some, prophets; and some, evangelists; and some, pastors and teachers;
Eph 4:12 for the perfecting of the saints, unto the work of ministering, unto the building up of the body of Christ:
Eph 4:13 TILL WE ALL ATTAIN UNTO THE UNITY OF THE FAITH, AND OF THE KNOWLEDGE OF THE SON OF GOD, UNTO THE FULLGROWN MAN, UNTO THE MEASURE OF THE STATURE OF THE FULNESS OF CHRIST.
Eph 4:14 that we may be no longer children, tossed to and fro and carried about with every wind of doctrine, by the sleight of men, in craftiness, after the wiles of error;
Eph 4:15 but speaking truth in love, we may grow up in all things into him, who is the head, even Christ;
Eph 4:16 from whom all the body fitly framed and knit together through that which every joint supplieth, according to the working in due measure of each several part, maketh the increase of the body unto the building up of itself in love.
