A séance is a where people try to communicate with the spirits of dead people. In them, Satan presents himself under the guise of departed friends and family. His goal is to gain access to your mind.
THE LAW OF GOD FORBIDS NECROMANCY
“There shall not be found among you any one that maketh his son or his daughter to pass through the fire, or that useth divination, or an observer of times, or an enchanter, or a witch.
Or a charmer, or a consulter with familiar spirits, or a wizard, or a necromancer. Deut 18:;10-11
THE PUNISHMENT FOR SORCERERS
In the Bible, necromancy is also called divination and sorcery. Look at the punishment for those who do not stop doing this evil.
“He that overcometh shall inherit all things; and I will be his God, and he shall be my son.
But the fearful, and unbelieving, and the abominable, and murderers, and whoremongers, and SORCERERS, and idolaters, and all liars, shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone: which is the second death.” Rev 31:7-8
