**Greeting
Welcoming and Greeting
Try to greet everyone who is walking by you.
During slow times it's fine to talk with other greeters BUT make sure you're always facing outwards and can see everyone who is approaching.
Remember Personal warmth — Look like you enjoy welcoming people. :-) Reflect the joy of the Lord and show Biblically hospitality.
Do your best to identify first time visitors.
If you think a person might be a first time visitor ask something like "How long have you been coming to Redeemer?", not “Is this your first time?”
If you are greeting for the first service please come at 8:30 am so you can join with the other serving teams for a time of prayer in the lobby.
There needs to be at least one greeter about 1/2 way to the Kids Discipleship iPads check-in-station who, besides greeting, helps first time visitor check in their children into the "Kids Discipleship" classes (age 0 to 4th grade) and any parent experiencing difficulty checking in their kids.
First Time Visitors

Help families with children check-in for Kids Discipleship & offer to show new guests where the classrooms are located.
Tell the parents that 4 year olds to 4th graders attend the 1st part of the service and then are dismissed to their class.
Make sure that children (10-13) are aware of the Kids Sermon Notes and pencil packets.
Take new guests to their seats and if possible introduce them to someone before walking away from them.
If possible, try to talk to the first time visitor after the service. Some possible questions are
