And we have believed in Christ Jesus, so that we might be made right with God because of our faith in Christ, not because we have obeyed the law. For no one will ever be made right with God by obeying the law.” Galatians 2:16
What happens when one "believes (has faith) in Jesus Christ?
(2) TURN from Your Sins “Now repent of your sins and turn to God, so that your sins may be wiped away.” Acts 3:19
How can you get your sins wiped away?
(3) COMMIT to Live to Follow & Serve Jesus “If you try to hang on to your life, you will lose it. But if you give up your life for my sake and for the sake of the Good News, you will save it.” Mark 8:35
How will you save your life?
"give up your life" means instead of living to follow & serve yourself you live to follow & serve Jesus (this is what it means to make Jesus your Lord).
(4) TELL God “I rely only on what Jesus has done on the cross rather than on my good works to save me. I repent and will live to follow and serve Jesus. Thank you for your adoption, help, forgiveness, and heaven”. Reread the above passages to see what has now changed!
