GDPR - Baby Pathway

GDPR Consent for Online Services

By using the Baby Pathway services, it is presumed that you agree to the terms outlined below. If you do not consent to any part of this agreement, please contact us before proceeding with your consultation.

(1) Explicit Consent

By accessing and using Baby Pathway’s services, you acknowledge and consent to the creation and storage of medical records concerning your child. These records may include details regarding medication, treatment, and other health-related issues, in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

These records will be retained for eight years (or until a child reaches 25, whichever is later) after treatment has ceased, in line with legal requirements. Records will be processed in accordance with our Privacy Notice, which you can review on our website.

If you do not agree to the processing of your records, please inform us before your consultation.

(2)Right of Withdrawal Policy

As a consumer, you have a 14-day right of withdrawal for online purchases, except when purchasing digital content delivered on non-physical media.

Since all Baby Pathway content is provided digitally—either via email or through access to online resources—you generally cannot exercise the right of withdrawal once access has been granted.

However, if you experience any issues or have concerns about your purchase, please reach out, and we will do our best to find a suitable solution for your situation.

(3) Communication for Appointments & Administration

Baby Pathway may contact you by text or email regarding future appointments, administrative matters, and (where appropriate) sending GP letters or care-related questionnaires.

Appointment reminders may be sent automatically via email and SMS the day before your scheduled session. If you do not wish to receive these, please notify us.

(4) Promotional Information

Baby Pathway may occasionally share healthcare updates, offers, and advice that may be of interest to you. You may opt out of these communications at any time.

(5) Exercise Software

To support your child's care, Baby Pathway may provide exercise videos and guidance through third party exercise software. Only the following personal data will be used:

  • Baby's First & last name
  • Year of birth
  • Email address

(6) Note-Taking Software (HEIDI)

To improve efficiency and accuracy, Baby Pathway may use HEIDI—a GDPR-compliant note-taking tool designed for clinical practitioners. This allows more focus on consultation quality rather than manual note-taking. Your information will be handled with the utmost care.

(7) Insurance & Payment Claims

If using health insurance, please check your policy to confirm whether sessions are covered, your allowance, and whether any excess payments apply.

All sessions must be paid for prior to the consultation, and a receipt will be provided for reimbursement claims.

(8) Consent for Consultation

During your consultation, we may ask detailed questions about you / your child’s health history and presenting concerns.

If you have any questions, please contact us before proceeding with your consultation.
