McVitie’s International Friendship Day giveaway terms and conditions.
Entrants must be aged 18 or over and be residents of the UK, Channel Islands or Isle of Man, excluding employees and their families of the Promoter, United Biscuits (UK) Limited trading as Pladis, their associated companies, their agents and anyone professionally connected with the free prize draw.
No purchase is required to enter the free prize draw.
To enter the free prize draw you must follow McVitie’s (@mcvitiesofficial) on Instagram/McVitie’s Facebook page, like and comment on the specific giveaway post on Instagram tagging another Instagram/Facebook user.
4. Entrants can enter the free prize draw as many times as they like.
Entry to the free prize draw starts on Sunday 30th July 2023 and the closing date for receipt of all entries is Sunday 6th August 2023 at 11:59pm.
There will be Five (5) Winners in total selected from all appropriate entries received. The selection will be chosen from all appropriate entries received throughout the duration of the competition period. Five (5) winners will be selected at random by the Promoter’s agents.
The prize for the winner is one (1) McVitie’s Biscuit Hamper & one (1) McVitie’s Biscuit Hamper for their friend.
No cash alternative will be awarded.
The Promoter’s decision is final on all matters relating to the free prize draw and no correspondence on the matter will be entered into.
The Winner will be contacted via comment replies or inbox messages on Instagram. To receive the prize, the winner must follow McVitie’s (@mcvitiesofficial) on Instagram/McVitie’s Facebook page to allow us to contact them with a direct message for their address.
The personal information you are asked to provide if you are selected as a Winner (your name, address and contact number) will only be used for the purpose of facilitating the free giveaway. By entering the free competition, you acknowledge that any personal data submitted will be used for the purposes of administering this giveaway only by the Promoter and/or by any agent appointed by it to assist with running the free prize draw on behalf of the Promoter, and will not be disclosed to a third party for any other purpose without the individual's prior consent or other valid lawful basis.
By entering this Promotion, each entrant acknowledges that if he or she is a winner his or her surname and county may be disclosed to persons enquiring, where permitted by law. Any entrant may object to their information being made available in this way, or may request that the amount of information made available be reduced by contacting the Promoter. In these circumstances the entrants acknowledge that the Promoter may nevertheless disclose such information in full to the Advertising Standards Authority if required to do so.
If there is no response from the selected winner after 48 hours from when the first message is sent, another winner will be selected and messaged.
