In 12 Hour format the hours will be displayed as 1 through 12 with “a.m.” and “p.m.”

HIGH INCIDENCE OF NOT COMPLETING SHIFTS IN ALORA
Hello all,
Steve here. It has been brought to my attention that payroll is a chaotic "mess" as a result of many caregivers either not completing their tasks or not clocking out at the end of the shift (or in many instances BOTH). I have been asked to stress again the mandatory obligation of completing tasks and clocking in and out. Without that, we do not get reimbursed. Payroll is contingent on documented proof that we have completed our jobs.
NOTE EXCEPTIONS:We know there are exceptions due to situations beyond our collective control. There are instances of networks going down, the Alora system is experiencing issues, mobile phone issues etc. This message is not about those. This message is addressing only matters that we are directly accountable for
(HOWEVER, the Caregiver still has a responsibility in those instances beyond their control, to bring it to the attention of Timekeeping/the Office Admin Assistant so that the shifts are completed properly.)

Nadine, Company President, has directly taken over payroll herself and was overwhelmed with what she said are 9 pages of shift "Conflicts" for the recent pay period. She is not happy with the general performance of documentation/shift completion to say the least. She wants it known that "Caregivers determine their own payroll".Without showing you have worked a shift, you cannot be paid. We cannot pay for services "un-rendered" (as far as regulations is concerned).
Also, It is ok to clock out later than scheduled times in instances that may require it. Staff should be clocking in on time however. If there are any time adjustments that need to be made, for whatever reasons, please notify the office so that we can adjust the shift time, reschedule if need be and stay on top of the Client's allotted hours.
