2008-06-01 Kayaking the Mokelunme River
Brian and I started at the Mokelumne Day Use Area and ended up at the Stillman Magee county park 4 about miles and 4 hours later. We use 2 two-person kayaks borrowed from a relative of his .
A fisherman said the dam just reduced the water it was releasing by a foot. Most of the time it was a slow current and a few times it was very shallow.
The front seat is adjusted back a fair amount since only one person is in it
This dolly helped out a lot because it was a long walk to the truck. These kayaks were heavy. The previous day Kathy had trouble helping me carry one.
