Martha Circle - Speaker on Identity theft - October

Martha Circle is one of our United Methodist Women's groups which has members that are older, some of who have been together for quite awhile, mixed with newer members. My Mother, Peggy Miesse hosted the group on the second Tuesday of October.  She invited Officer Eberhart from PV Police Department to give a talk on Identity theft, and scams played on older women, and medical emergency information.
22 women came!
 


Pumpkin Pie was the dessert offered with coffe and tea. they meet 12;30 pm - 2:00 PM.

The circle was named for Martha in the New Testament, sister of Mary and Lasarus. When Jesus came to stay with them, and taught in their living room, Mary was sitting at Jesus' feet, while Martha was bustling around making lunch for everyone.  I guess the founders of this circle identified with Martha!
