We are thinking of tearing it down, to make more room for a gazebo, or fountain for our wedding venue. When one has a huge basement, the need for a shed isn't a necessary requirement. One thought is to save the bricks for flower beds. Right now it is an eye-sore. What say you? Looking for opinions here.

I would talk with either a architect or a landscape architect (or maybe both) and have them answer the question "How can we make this back yard a much better location for weddings? They might come up with some really good ideas that could both make the back yard much more beautiful and save the cost of tearing down the building.
Maybe by either modifying the building so it could easily be used as a bar or by "hiding" it in such a way that it won't be an eye-sore for weddings. Maybe by putting a terrace, or a wall (of bushes), or decorating the outside of it that faces the wedding? And with the money saved, build the gazebo and a wall (fence or bushes or trees) that acts as a screen between you and your neighbors.
