I was wondering how the new NLS digital talking book player was different from just download books from itunes or Audible .com but then it occured to me that these programs/services are geared towards those who can see. How does NLS make up for their shortcomings ? Or is the NLS system just a more low cost ( though Audible.com and itunes are very reasonable ) option ?

Very informative and helpful for those with seeing issues.  Glad  that folks who can't see have a way to enjoy books.
