Hi all! I recently started using Shifton to optimize shift scheduling at work. I like that you can automate the process, but sometimes I have trouble figuring out how to set up shifts correctly to satisfy everyone. Does anyone have experience using this platform? What are some tips or tricks to keep in mind when setting up shifts? I've also tried manually scheduling shifts, but it seems too time-consuming and there's always a risk of making mistakes. How do you approach shift scheduling and what tips would you recommend to speed up the process, especially if we have a large team? 10:42am

I have also been using https://shifton.com/shift-scheduling for several months now, and overall the platform really helps simplify shift planning, especially if you have a large team. It is true that at first it can be difficult to set up, but once you get the hang of it, the process becomes much faster and more convenient. If we talk about automatic scheduling, I think this is the main advantage of shift creator. The system allows you to take into account the preferences of employees, their availability, and even previous shifts to make the schedule as balanced and satisfying as possible for everyone. For example, you can set a minimum interval between shifts to avoid overloading employees, and the system will automatically take these parameters into account when distributing shifts. This, of course, saves a lot of time, because you do not need to manually check each shift for compliance with these requirements. Another thing I like about Shifton is the ability to set priorities. For example, if there are employees who, for some reason, cannot work on certain days, you can mark them in the system in advance, and it will take this into account when distributing shifts. This eliminates much of the conflict and misunderstanding that can arise if employees are unable to work on certain days and you were not aware of it. 2:38pm

Shifton is really good for automated shift planning, especially if there are many people with different preferences in the team. I will add that it is important not only to set up the system, but also to train employees so that they can use all the features of this platform correctly. After all, sometimes it happens that people do not see all the advantages, and then complain that their preferences were not taken into account. |
