Our office is planning to upgrade from basic kettles to a proper coffee solution, and we're debating between a pod-based machine or a full commercial coffee vending setup. The team is around 30 people, and we want something reliable, not too noisy, and ideally easy to clean. Has anyone made a similar transition?

That’s a great idea—moving to a proper coffee setup really boosts morale. I’d say factor in how often people drink coffee and what kind of drinks they expect (like espressos or just black coffee).

When we expanded our team last year, we realized the old instant coffee setup just wasn’t cutting it anymore. After some trial and error, we looked into a few models and settled on a coffee vending machine that matched our size and usage. The machine we chose could handle a mix of preferences—black coffee, cappuccino, even hot chocolate—which was a big win for variety. What also helped was how intuitive the interface was, so people didn’t waste time figuring it out in the mornings. Maintenance has been surprisingly easy too, with a quick rinse cycle and refill system. It doesn’t disrupt the office either—it’s quiet, and doesn’t require plumbing. It sits in our break area and kind of became a central hub for quick team chats. Definitely worth looking into if you're aiming to improve both productivity and team satisfaction.
