A History of Improvements to Keep&Share


October 15, 2018:

Updates:

  • Calendar:
    • New event icons have been added for paid accounts under the "Business" tab including:
      • times
      • cancel
      • plane
      • bell
      • dollar sign
      • envelope
      • file
      • heart
      • lock
      • unlock
      • picture
      • magnifying glass
    • Prevent local events & day notes from being added to a calendar
      • This is especially useful if you are using calendar overlays and don't want any events added to the master calendar
    • When you create a custom title for Event Notes in your calendar the Event Editor will remember this custom title and apply it to any new events that you create in your calendar
    • You can filter what events come in from your calendar overlays using Event Tags
    • The "Customize" screen for your calendar was updated to break "Event editor settings" & "Default reminder settings" into separate panels
    • The Audit History Log has been updated with a more powerful search feature
    • You can customize the height of the Day Grid so that it is 2, 4, 6, or 8 lines high regardless of what you have your time intervals set to (ex. 15 minutes, 30 minutes, 1 hour, etc)
    • You can change how high your multi-day events are so that they show more of your event text
  • Self-Book
    • There's a new "Submission Confirmation Text" field in the "Notifications" tab of your Self-Book Templates
      • You can now customize the message that your event participants receive to confirm when they've submitted a booking to your calendar
    • You can display "pending" bookings in the Group Signup Self-Book template when you turn on the signup roster link
    • You now have the option of when a visitor fills out a Self-Book form and adds their phone number that the phone number will be added as a link to the submitted event

  • Calendar:
    • Self-Book Appointments or Group Signups can now be returned to their original state when they’ve been rejected or cancelled.
    • When you show the roster for your Self-Book group signups, the roster now shows the number of attendees for your event.
    • In Self-Book you have the option of includes a Map Link Address in your Self-Book forms. This allows you or your visitors to enter in a link to a map (ex. you can copy a map link from Google Maps and paste it into this text field).
    • You can give visitors with Edit Rights to your calendar the ability to edit your Calendar Legend.
  • Addresses:
  • To Do Lists:
    • If you have To Do Lists overlaid on your calendar, you can now drag-n-drop tasks to new dates or times to quickly reschedule them.
    • The Task Editor has been updated so that it's easier to read and use.
    • You can now edit your To Do List directly from your calendar using a pop-up dialog.
    • Your tasks can now be assigned times and durations and can be placed into times slots in your calendar.
    • Tasks now can have true repeating schedules so they will recur on any repeat schedule you want, whether it's a daily task or one for the second Tuesday of every other month. As soon as any repeating task is finished, it's next instance in the repeating schedule appears automatically. This works in any To Do List and any To Do List overlays.
    • A Copy" button has been added to the Task Editor to make it easier to duplicate tasks.
    • You can choose a timezone and a first day of the week for your To Do Lists.

  • We’ve released a few new options for your calendar printouts:
    • For multi-day events, you can choose to have the text centered.
    • Add between 0 and 8 pixels of white space between events on each day.
    • The name of your calendar has now been moved to the top of the page and the date range (ex. January 2018) has been moved to a second line below your calendar name.
    • You can now hyphenate words in your events on your calendar printout.
  • We’ve changed the limits for our Event Tags in our Expansion Packs. Now you can increase your Event Tags to 30, 60, or 120 tags.
  • Visitors to your To Do Lists can now see the Audit History Log for Lists that they have Edit Rights to.
  • Visitors to your Documents can now view the Document Trash if they have Edit Rights.
  • You can now start and end your Day Grid on 30 minute intervals.
  • We’ve reorganized some of the settings in the 'Customize" screen for your calendar. Part of the settings that were in the "Event display options" tab are now in the "Event editor & default reminder settings" tab.
  • You can now add events to your calendar without event text as long as there’s something else that can be displayed (Event Notes, links or Self-Book).
  • A new 1 week (column) — no weekends" has been added to your list of calendar views.

  • We've added a new 14-day option for limiting how far in the future visitors can see events in your calendar.
  • When you print your calendar you can now center the event text for mulitiple day events and increase the spacing between each event listed in your calendar.

  • When you attach addresses to events in your calendar, you now have the option to search for and attach addresses that you’ve already added to your account.
  • We’ve completely re-done the embedding calendar configuration. You now have more flexibility, new layouts, more embedding features, and better responsive calendars.
  • In the event editor you can now share individual events with others using the 'Send Message" dialog
  • The option to "Hide Empty Days" (days without any entries) in your calendar is now available on mobile Keep&Share.

  • Free Basic accounts can now add Event Notes and address capacity has been increased to 100.
  • If you have borders on your events they will now show up in your calendar printouts.
  • If you embed a Responsive calendar in your website you now have the option to show a secondary temporary timezone above your calendar. When a second timezone is selected then the events on the calendar will be shown at the times in the new timezone.
